Swedish 101: Glass

Glass! Swedish for ice cream. Swedes love their ice cream. There are stores everywhere in downtown Uppsala and at this time of year there is always somebody eating some (even at 9am in the morning). We were convinced Swedes ate more ice cream per capita than any other country, however, a little non-scientific web search revealed the following.

1) New Zealand 26.3
2) USA 22.5
3) Canada 17.8
4) Australia 17.8
5) Switzerland 14.4
6) Sweden 14.2

Maybe the ice cream scene here is just a non-winter thing. New Zealand looks like a good choice for a future research sabbatical!
