Top 5 Adventures in 2006

OK so a few weeks ago Mike posted his 5 favourites orienteering races of 2006. Here is the Wadd Squad top 5 Family Adventures of 2006.

1) Switzerland. Mountains, glaciers, chocolate, gondolas, orienteering, paragliding... enough said. This was an awesome family adventure

2) Killarney. Our favourite place in Canada. An entire lake to ourselves for 5 days. Hiking up Silver Peak and lots of relaxing swim time.

3) Paris. The surprise visit to Paris on Starr's 40th Birthday.

4) Florida. A weekend winter getaway to Orlando a visit to Disney, some orienteering and a trip to the beach.

5) Edinburgh. Some hiking in Hollyrood, easter egg hunt at the Castle and lots of sightseeing.
