Tallinn, Estonia

On Friday we drove into Stockholm and hopped onto the ferry to Tallinn, Estonia. The car rental nightmare will have to be a story for another day....

Anyway, we reserved a cabin for the three of us on the boat and enjoyed a great buffet of food. After dinner we went onto the deck of the boat to watch the boat navigate through the Stockholm area archipelago.

We spent a few hours wandering the streets of Tallinn. Tallinn is a very beautiful city. We enjoyed seeing all the very old buidings there. How old? Oh late 1100's, early 1200's. Tallinn, means "Danish Town" in Estonian and was one of the Hanseatic League trading centres. The Danish and Scandinavian influence is every where.
