Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen

Denmark is famous for many things and several of them can be found in the capital city of Copenhagen. Although we only had a short time to visit while en route to Switzerland, we managed to visit two big attractions. Tivoli was our first priority and we visited it during the best part of the day – late afternoon and early evening – which allowed us to see it lit up with thousands of tiny lights. We went on all kinds of rides and had a great time. The next morning we made one more stop – the statue of The Little Mermaid in the harbour. Unfortunately she is a very popular girl and we had to wait our turn as 2 tour buses were there at the same time as we were!
