Swiss Orienteering: Day#1

Today was Day#1 of the Swiss Orienteering Week. The weather forecast is sunny and hot all week so we are expecting a wonderful week. The photo above shows Emma finishing with the Matterhorn in the background. We took a mountain railway to the start and sat beside a wonderful man from Switzerland that prepared us for all the best views on the way up the mountain. Apparently a race was held here two years ago and the fog was so thick you couldn't see more than a few meters. We are lucky to have such great weather.
The person on the left running down the hill is Starr on her way to the finish line on Day#1.
The Wadd Squad. How many pictures are we going to take of the Matterhorn this week? Apparently it is only cloud-free 1 in 9 days a year. We are here for 7 and have already seen it cloud free. Lucky us.
