Swiss Orienteering: Day#4

This is Emma's first international orienteering competition. She is participating in the Girls 10 and under competition even though she is only 8. The course difficulty so far has been quite tough as there are few trails and almost none of her checkpoints have been on trails. But she is really enjoying the events and today had the same last two checkpoints as Mike. She beat Mike by 2 seconds over the final 300m of racing today.

International orienteering races are a great way to meet new friends. So the highlight of Day#4 for Emma was meeting a new friend. Her name is Emma as well and they met on the gondola to today's race.
