Swedish 101: Bil Bingo

On our drive from Denmark to Sweden we pulled over to buy dinner. Why all the cars in the parking lot we wondered. A Swedish tailgate party? This was something I would expect to see in the US but Sweden? Then we realized that it wasn't a tailgate party but that they were playing bingo - sitting in their cars. BIL BINGO.

56....21....34...Toot toot goes a car horn....and we have bingo.

It just didn't seem like a Swedish thing this car bingo.

We enjoyed the drive to Goteborg where we visited friends and also had lunch with the Franssons. Goteborg is a lot more similar to Muskoka than the Uppsala area. If we do this all over again in 4 years we think we'll have to spend much more time in Goteborg.
