Fun at Vigelands

Vigelands is a Statue Park in Oslo and is one of Norway’s main tourist attractions. There are over 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and cast iron displays in a beautiful park full of walkways, gardens and fountains all of which are the work of Gustav Vigeland. On Mike’s recommendation we visited the park in the late afternoon - early evening, which made for excellent photos. Vigeland was an incredibly talented sculptor as you see when you look at the expressions and body language in his works. . We had a wonderful time wandering through the park examining every statue. We took some fabulous photos and also took some for fun – we hope you enjoy them!

Great photos! Who would have thought that a statue garden could be so much fun?
